Reflection:
Purpose and usage of my camera:
The invisible particles. It's integrating interactive particles with the
camera and let you interact with the partcles virtually with real-world
motion.
My original intention was to replace humans in front of the camera as
binary codes. However, As I went ahead to realize the idea. I found out
that simply putting in small images to replace the human body was too
boring. Hence, I went ahead to think about, can I replace human with
some small particles and these particles are interactable.
Hence, I went ahead to find some particles example and I found this:
See the Pen Text to particles by Louis Hoebregts (@Mamboleoo) on CodePen.
It looks pretty cool too me. Hence, I went ahead to experiment it and
see how can I link it to camera.
I firstly replace human face as particles. However, interacting with my
head using mouse wasn't that natural. I move on to fill up my screen
with particles then, and use my nose as the mouse to move the particles.
Hence, this is my final draft.
Reflection: It's pretty funny to treat the real world motion as a new
kind of input into computer. Since in the past, we are treating mainly
using mouses and keyboards as the input method.
